Sardinia Travel

When it comes to visiting Italy and laying out on its stunning and beautiful white sandy Mediterranean beaches, one of the best places that comes to mind is none other than Sardinia. With the water on the outside of the island and the mountainous backdrop in the center, Sardinia is nothing less than a perfect place in Italia to spend a holiday.

It is in the southernmost portion of Sardinia that you will find long and inviting stretches of beautiful white sand beaches laden with some of the clearest waters in all of Europe. You can find the superb beaches of Santa Margherita Di Pula just outside the city of Cagliari. But for a more uncluttered stretch of Sardinia coastline, you should check out Chia which is the home of a 16th century campanile.

In Nora you can find a city that was founded back in the 8th century B.C. and has an amazing amphitheater in it. Once you give a visit to the southern edge of Sardinia, you then need to make your way up north to Baia Sardinia as well as Costa Smeralda which offers its visitors almost deserted coves along the shoreline that are backed up rugged rocky inlets.

When it is all said and done, a week long holiday in Sardinia, Italy is well worth the much needed rest and relaxation that can only be found in Italy.
