Sorrento Holiday

A Sorrento holiday is ideal for you to be able to visit some of the more popular attractions that this region of Italy has to offer.  All of the main attractions including the city of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii can be reached by car, train or bus. 

In fact the journey by train from Sorrento to Naples will take about an hour to complete so is perfect solution to allow you the chance to spend a day in what is a very vibrant city.  Whilst there your visit should not be wasted and you should try a pizza as Naples is where they were invented. 

However, the town of Sorrento is truly lovely and time during your holiday to it should be spent exploring its streets.  After all that walking around then head down to the fishing harbor known as Marina Grande where you can spend time soaking up its great atmosphere as you spend time sunbathing on the rocks which surround it.  As for what to do in the evenings, it is up to you just how wild you go.  You can either spend time at one of the many street cafes watching others go by or why not enjoy some live music and dancing at one of the city’s many nightclubs.

When it comes to where to stay in Sorrento you have a wide selection of hotels and apartments to choose from.  However, if you intend to spend your holiday in the city during the height of the summer season then accommodation needs to be booked well in advance of the dates of your trip.  If not then you may find yourself limited on where you can stay.
