Tuscany Holidays

There are many reasons why Tuscany holidays are popular with people from the UK as it offers them the chance to really experience what country life in Italy is like.  However, it also gives them a chance to learn about the areas culture and spend time learning about its history as well.   Certainly the country lifestyle in this part of Italy has not changed that much during the past 400 years.

Although you will find that Tuscany has some of the most beautiful golden sandy beaches in the whole of Italy for you to enjoy.  There is so much more to this region that one should be considering exploring during your holiday.  Further in land are the mountains where one can spend time looking over the vineyards and olive groves which are main contributors towards the areas exports.

However, there are also the wonderful cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa, Arezzo and Prato for one to visit and really discover more about the area’s history which dates back more than 2,000 years.  This is a region where the likes of Leonardo, Michelangelo and Giotto come from along with the writers Dante and Boccaccio.

Certainly the cities most often visited by tourist when they holiday in Tuscany are Florence and Pisa.  Of course no visit to this part of Italy is really complete without actually having said that you have been and seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa.  Which even today is still one of the most easily recognizable monuments in the world along with the Eiffel Tower, The Statute of Liberty and of course Big Ben.
